Sound installation featuring a CD player with a scratched disc containing damaged recordings of my mother.
I asked her to record words she had never said to me or was too afraid to say, knowing I would never hear them. She agreed and sent a six-minute recording, which I burned onto a CD and then scratched, erasing the possibility of ever listening to it.
