I think of you otfen (Rue du Congo, Paris), 2025
Aluminium box, stickers
38x18x10cm
I think of you otfen (Madison Street, NYC), 2024
Found aluminium frame, frosted perspex, correx print
190x75cm
Similar to Proust’s madeleine, I think of you often is a series of panels featuring blurred depictions of exisiting laundromats. Each panel is conceived as a subtle shrine, symbolically linked to a past relationship with someone I’ve lost contact with. The act of passing by these laundromats consistently evokes memories of them, underscoring the lingering connection between place, scent and recollection.
Doormat series, 2024
Doormat, spray paint
60x40cm
Series of 50+ doormats with inscribed extracts from diaries and phones notes dating from 2017.
Tension (7), 2022
Denim jeans, water, wooden discs, steel wires, buckets, safety signs
Dimensions variable
Tension (7) is an installation featuring multiple pairs of suspended jeans, urinating on themselves.
The jeans face each other, avoid one another, and isolate themselves whilst still forming a group, creating a constant tension between solitude and a desire for connection.
I got petrol in the car, 2022
Multimedia, video, colour, sound,
50x50x50cm, 00:05:50,
Video installation featuring a close-up sequence of the artist in drag, lipsyncing to an acapella, edited sound of Kate Bush’s You’re The One.
Maman (erased), 2021
Multimedia, CD player, scratched CD with audio recording
30x30x30cm, 00:06:03
Edition of 7 + 2 AP
Sound installation featuring a CD player with a scratched disc containing damaged recordings of my mother. I asked her to record words she had never said to me or was too afraid to say, knowing I would never hear them. She agreed and sent a six-minute recording, which I burned onto a CD and then scratched, erasing the possibility of ever listening to it.
